About the Journal
Journal of Applied Science & Sustainable Development (JASSD) stands as a premier peer-reviewed, open-access nexus. We catalyze the transition from theoretical discovery to pragmatic application, focusing specifically on the intersection of technological advancement and environmental resilience.
Solutions to the world’s most pressing ecological crises require more than siloed knowledge; they demand a synthesis of expertise. JASSD provides this vital platform. By disseminating high-caliber empirical research and critical reviews, we aim to equip scientists, engineers, and policymakers with the intellectual tools necessary to build a truly sustainable future.
JASSD invites original manuscripts that offer novel insights into applied science, provided they align with sustainable development goals. Our scope is organized into four thematic pillars:
- Renewable Energy Systems: Solar, wind, and hydrothermal optimization.
- Green Infrastructure: Sustainable civil engineering and urban planning.
- Applied Mechanics: Resource-efficient manufacturing and robotics.
- Climate Mitigation: Carbon sequestration and atmosphere modeling.
- Water & Waste Management: Circular economy and desalination tech.
- Biodiversity Conservation: Ecosystem restoration and agro-ecology.
- Sustainable Materials: Bio-plastics, nanomaterials, and recyclables.
- Green Chemistry: Non-toxic synthesis and catalyst development.
- Resource Recovery: Mining waste valorization and urban mining.
- Development Economics: Sustainable growth and poverty alleviation.
- Environmental Policy: Regulatory impact and international law.
- Digital Sustainability: AI and IoT applications for resource management.
JASSD utilizes permanent digital identifiers (DOIs) via Crossref. We are actively optimizing our metadata for imminent inclusion in Scopus, ESCI, and CAS databases to ensure long-term scholarly impact.
